They took it down to the studs, updating plumbing, adding insulation, and rebuilding it completely. From day one, everyone was kind and easy to talk to. Sapir walked us through options we wouldn’t have known to ask about, and went above and beyond to coordinate everything. The crew was efficient, showed up on time, kept things organized, and always took a moment to explain what they were doing behind the walls instead of just brushing us off.
The biggest headache actually came from the suppliers. There were issues with colors, measurements, and delivery timelines, and at a few points we were worried those mistakes were going to push the whole project back. Sapir handled all of that for us. She stayed on top of the suppliers, chased down corrections, kept following up when timelines changed, and made sure the right materials actually showed up. We honestly would not have wanted to deal with that part ourselves.
The client portal was also another thing that was a plus, it made everything much easier because we could see the schedule, progress, and updates as the project moved along without constantly having to ask what was happening next.
The new shower feels so much more open, and the whole room is brighter and more comfortable. Couldn’t be happier!
I first came across Sapphire Remodeling after doing a lot of research online and seeing their name pop up in local recommendations, so I decided to reach out and get a quote for my bathroom remodel. I had been saving up to redo the bathroom for some time, because I really felt like where you start the day sets the tone for the rest of it. The house is very old and the bathroom hadn’t been updated in over 40 years, so it was definitely time for a change.
Originally, I just wanted to replace the old flooring with vinyl and add more insulation because my feet are always freezing in the mornings. When I explained that to David, he was very straightforward and told me that simply adding another insulation layer probably wouldn’t solve my problem. He never tried to push me into anything, but he suggested that since I was already remodeling, I should consider installing heated floors.
It was more expensive than what I had in mind, but honestly, it has been completely life changing. The floors heat up fairly quickly, and with the smart thermostat David installed, they automatically warm up every morning before I wake up. For the last two months, I’ve been stepping onto a warm floor every single day, and I can’t believe I lived without it before.
The whole process of working with David was easy. He laid out a clear payment schedule from the start, kept communication open the entire time, and was always honest with his answers to my (many) questions. I appreciated that he explained my options without any pressure, so I could make the decision that fit my situation best.
We had a really good experience with Sapphire Remodeling. From the beginning Sapir and David were easy to reach and very clear about everything. We wanted to do a bath-to-shower conversion and they gave us a fair price and a pretty clear timeline. What we liked the most was that we were talking directly with them. There was no middle man and no waiting around for someone else to give us any answers, even when dealing with the suppliers. If we had a question about the schedule or materials or what was happening next we could just text Sapir directly and usually get an answer pretty fast.
Sapphire Remodeling is also the only company that could actually provide us with a clear availability and work timeline. They said they could get us on their schedule within a few weeks and gave us a realistic idea of how the project would move from there. Even though the project took a week longer than initially expected, the communication about the timeline was very clear and we were not worried at all.
Everyone else we talked to was very vague about timing. We kept hearing things like maybe in a few months or we will know more later. That made a big difference for us because we really did not want to sign something without knowing when the project would actually happen even though some of them gave us a better price, but we didn’t want to risk it just for the money.
We had a bad experience with different contractor before so we were very careful about choosing a company for this project, and we didn’t want another project to last 8 months instead of 2 with no contact person to give us any information, so we’re so happy and grateful to have found David and Sapir.
With Sapphire it was just a completely different experience. They stayed involved and we always knew who to talk to. They explained the different options to us and gave us enough information to actually make decisions instead of just telling us to pick something. The communication stayed good through the whole project and we never felt like we had to chase them for updates.
The pricing was also very reasonable compared to the other quotes we got. They did not try to make the project bigger than it needed to be and we never felt pushed into extra things just to spend more.
The remodel came out great and it feels much more open now. But honestly the biggest thing for us was just how easy it was to communicate with them and knowing what was happening the whole time
